North End Sound is a sound reinforcement company dedicated to providing excellent customer service, and top notch engineering services using high quality equipment.

Since 1998, we have provided services to a wide spectrum of artists, venues and festivals. We are comfortable in corporate and private settings, where punctuality and good manners are as important as a great sounding sound system.

What separates us from the rest of the pack is customer service. In addition to the actual production of the event itself, North End Sound, Inc. offers a host of other services to its clients. During the planning stages of the event or series, we can assist with pre-production meetings, co-ordinate bands, tent setup and staging needs. Since we are a part of the local music scene, we can recommend many different local bands that might suit the event. On the day of the event, we serve as stage manager, sound engineer, and production company. Since we are proficient in all of these roles, we reduce the workload of the event planners both in the planning and the production of the event. Best of all, we do it with a smile.

Philip Jongejan is the Owner and CEO of North End Sound.
He is passionate about music and the science of sound.

Born and raised in London, Ontario, Philip started his sound engineering career at a young age, from recording commercials for school projects with his sister to very loud science fair projects. In his college years, he refined his skills as a theatrical sound designer and sound engineer, earning national recognition for his work. After an internship in Chicago he moved to Denver in 1994 and began a period of time working as a freelance technician at various venues in the Front Range. In 1998 he stepped out on his own, forming North End Sound.

He currently lives in Northglenn, CO with his wife, Kimberly, and their three daughters. When not obsessing about sound, he can often be found tinkering in his garage, or cheering on his daughters at a swim meet.
